This year in the Senedd he's spoken about faith schools' teaching of LGBT issues, telling First Minister Mark Drakeford LGBT+ equality is "very close to my own heart and, indeed, my own life". When the National Eisteddfod was in Cardiff Bay last year, it brought a new dimension to the event, and put on the first ever LGBT+ twmpath. He's a key supporter of Mas ar y Maes, a partnership between the LGBT+ community, Stonewall and the National Eisteddfod. A highly respected academic thinker, Mr Price is putting Wales, and Plaid on the map. He hit the headlines this year by telling Question Time that yes he had taken drugs and that "as a gay man in the 1990s.you'd be surprised if I hadn't". He's the Carmarthen East and Dinefwr AM and now Plaid Cymru leader - making him the first out politician to lead a Welsh political party.
